Toronto’s Nightizm is destined to seize the night yet again on this YMR remix premiere. This outstanding mix of Tei Shi’s ‘Get It’ is exactly what you’d expect from one of our favourite Canadian producers and DJs.
After hugely successful remixes of Stwo’s ‘Eden’, Schoolboy Q’s ‘Blessed’ and The Weeknd’s ‘Twenty Eight’, Nightizm has continued the fine form and brought out this remix to Tei Shi’s ‘Get It‘ from her recent EP.
This is a very zen mix of the original track. The kind of mix that requires you to turn the lights down low and possibly indulge yourself in some slow burning temperature raising antics. I’d go as far as to say that not only is this one of our favourite remixes by Nightizm but also one of the best so far too. He’s certainly raised ‘Get It’ to an almost Portishead type level and at just under six minutes, this track begs to be repeated again and again and again.
