Everyday leading up to SXSW in Austin during March, we’ll be focusing on at least one band or artist that we’re looking forward to trying to catch when we are in Austin this year. Today’s SXSW Showcasing Artist/Band focus is Tommie Sunshine & The Disco Fries.
Look. We’ve posted a fair number of these daily SXSW focused posts up and there are some bands and artists that have gotten us a little more excited than others that they’re playing SXSW in Austin. However, if you are regular to Your Music Radar, you’ll know that we have seriously been trying to push these guys a lot so that the good listeners to YMR can get their big tune fix of three mighty musician/DJs.
Well, it’s with great pleasure that we just checked the SXSW schedule and Tommie Sunshine and The Disco Fries are going to be hitting Austin. It’s going to be big. It’s going to be huge. It’s going to be awesome.
It is also perfect timing for the trio too as their new track ‘Cool Without You’ which features Kid Sister is out on Beatport and this track is another reason why Fries & Shine are up there with some of the artists to watch in 2013.
