Everyday leading up to SXSW in Austin during March, we’ll be focusing on at least one band or artist. Today’s SXSW Showcasing Artist/Band focus is RDGLDGRN.
These guys have been creeping onto our radar bit by bit over the last few weeks. Their new track has definitely got us interested for what’s to come.
RDGLDGRN know the legacy of their city’s indie scene, and for their new track ‘I Love Lamp’ the trio recruited local hero Dave Grohl, who grew up in nearby Northern Virginia. ‘
‘I Love Lamp” is on RDGLDGRN’s debut EP, RDGLDGRN, which is due February 12th. Just in time for Austin. Maybe there will be a Dave Grohl cameo at one of their shows. Who knows.
