Everyday leading up to SXSW in Austin during March, we’ll be focusing on at least one band or artist. Today’s SXSW Showcasing Artist/Band focus is Capital Cities.
We first picked up these guys with their awesome cover of Sinead O’Connor’s hit (yes it was really Prince’s track) ‘Nothing Compares To You’. If you loved that, did you hear their cover of Madonna’s ‘Holiday’ as that was sensational too. Then of course, their own stuff is quite fantastic too and it all adds up to one great gig that you’ll catch if you see Capital Cities in Austin.
