Royal Teeth have done the unthinkable and made a cover of The Kniife’s track ‘Heartbeats’ which isn’t far off the excellence of the original.
The irony. I was just ‘mentally’ getting stuck into Grey’s Anatomy for sucking up every cover online and destroying them in an endless back to back procession of cheaper alternatives to band tracks. One cover is good on a show but never ending covers turns it all into a mediocrity.
I’m a huge advocate for covers getting bands out there and for showing their talents whilst getting under your psyche with tracks you already like. This cover does exactly that. It’s mighty. It’s golden. It’s Royal Teeth that you should be checking out.
