It makes me a happy man when Pat Lok drops a track. Particularly when it is as sensational as ‘All In My Head’ featuring Desirée Dawson. If 2014 was the year of the Pat Lok killer remix, 2015 looks set to be the year of the stellar original mix for one of Vancouver’s finest.
There’s no band wagon involved on the deep house train here from Pat Lok as he’s been pumping out the audio goodness well before the others have been jumping the EDM ship. It shows too, as this is a mature sounding track that absolutely nails it. How good are the Desirée Dawson vocals on this one? Quite mighty indeed.
‘All In My Head’ is out February 9th, and includes remixes from one of our favourite Australian band Gold Fields (this promises to be a golden mix), rising South London duo Howson’s Groove, fellow Canadian producer Cyclist, and SYRE.
