Owl Eyes provides us with the first track ‘Closure’ from her album Nightswim and it’s an exciting prospect of what is on offer when the album drops next month.
With her Faces EP (2010), Raiders EP (2011) & Crystalised EP (2012) all building the momentum for Melbourne’s Brooke Addamo, 2013 is now set to be another big year. We’ve been avidly monitoring the progress of Owl Eyes during this time and we cannot wait for this new album to drop. It features 11 tracks + 1 bonus track (Love Run Dry) and is out April 19.
There’s some slick production on hand for ‘Closure’ and this has only enhanced Owl Eyes even further. We had Owl Eyes on our YMR Watch List back in 2012 and there’s a good reason for it when you hear this track.
