NEKOKAT have just launched this catchy tune on us and ‘Gimme A Break’ is not giving me a break at all, as I’ve found myself re-spinning this infectious track a lot since it went live.
NEKOKAT’s first single ‘Gimme A Break’ bounces along at a break neck speed but the addiction to this tune never slips.
It started has a track idea Jordan made. It had the ‘Yeah, yeah, yeah’ vocal thing and a sample of kids in a Japan classroom learning English. To me, “Gimme a Break” is sending the message to be true to who you are. Be yourself. Be awesome. Be different.
