There’s a reason that Little May were our number #1 pick for Australian artists to watch in 2014. It might be a little while in-between drinks from the cup of Little May’s fountain of songs but when they runneth they flow over with something quite special.
New track ‘Dust’ is another exquisite example of just how fine this band is at putting together an outstanding track that demonstrates just how much of a force they are to be reckoned with. It follows hotly on the heels of ‘Hide‘ and YMR favourite track ‘Boardwalks‘.
It is only a matter of time before they crack it like they’re supposed to, both in Australia and of course overseas. For an up and coming band, they’ve done more online through Hype Machine than a hell of a lot more established bands. That should tell you something.
I’ve had the pleasure of seeing Little May live and I can tell you that what you hear on record is just as special when you hear it in the flesh.
