Before we go any further, let me just ask you how good this track is? Awesome I hear you say and you’re damn right!!! The track Ritual Union in all it’s glory is pretty much one of the best track releases of 2011.
However, I think that there is an even bigger track on this EP and that comes in the form of the remix by Maya Jane Coles. Maya Jane Coles takes it into quite a dark place indeed but still keeps the vibe of the original version. Personally, I think her remixed version is even better than the original.
But…wait….whose that knocking at the door too, it’s Tensnake with his remix on the EP getting in on the quality action too. His mix is gold too. It’s not often you get a whole host of remixes on an EP and you just want to listen to them all in one go as each is quite individual from the original.
Do yourself a favour and get your mits on on this EP, particularly the Maya Jane Coles remix.
If you haven’t got tickets to Parklife I’d get some as Little Dragon are playing it and they will attract a big crowd. It will be interesting if they do side shows. It’s getting ever so close to September now and there hasn’t been much of a sniff of side shows yet, so if you’re waiting for Little Dragon gig outside of Parklife, you might be disappointed.
