First things first. Are you a Kimbra fan? Have you heard her sing? Have you seen her perform?  If you have answered no to any or all of the above then you are missing out good sirs and ladies!!

Kimbra is a hot hot talent from New Zealand who has been on Australian shores putting her talent out there on the live circuit. She has just returned from SXSW and since January when she supported Gypsy & The Cat has been doing a lot of free live promotional gigs at The Espy and St Kilda Festival amongst others.

Her new single Cameo Lover has just been getting great airplay on the radio and it is well deserved.

She is playing a headline show at The Corner in April (Thu 14th April) and you should get in there quick to see her perform live, as she is awesome and is going places. Definite potential to follow in Ladyhawke’s footsteps for an ARIA nomination for a Kiwi downunder.

If you’ve listened to her singles  Cameo Lover, Settle Down or watched any of her Sing Sing studio performances on You Tube they are a much more sedate affair than the powerful soulstress madness that you get at the live gigs, but it’s all quality goodness.

Set the date for her Corner gig and pick up the single or you will regret it when Kimbra is on the up and up and you missed out.

Can’t wait for her album to come out and for her to bag that ARIA nomination in the not too distant future. Patience is a virtue but the rewards are golden.
