Within seconds I was hooked on this track.  The reason for this is that Hans Island is the collective project of Canadian producer Mawhs and Scandinavian singer Marie Dahlstrøm.  I am absolutely addicted to Marie Dahlstrøm’s at the moment and this new track is a silky electronic R&B track that I just cannot get enough of.

We’ve compared Marie Dahlstrøm’s vocals to the likes of Lisa Shaw before and this one just oozes it.  This is golden and definitely a band to file next to your George Maple and Jessie Ware, with the beats and snaps on show from Mawhs. It is all very Ta-ku, if that’s your medicine!
