Chicago’s fabulous band Glass Lux drop their hot new track ‘Disco Light’ via a YMR premiere. Emily Morse on vocal duties sounds like a hybrid from the eighties of classic artists Debbie Harry and Hazel O’Connor.
Glass Lux formed in October 2010 when producer/DJ Alfonso Mayen met vocalist Emily Morse through a facebook message. The resulting project led to a slick dance-and-synth-heavy sound showcasing Le Fonz’s catchy production and Emily’s hauntingly mature voice. 2013 Leo joined on synths adding a fuller sound to the live set.
‘Disco Light’ follows very slickly and nicely in the footsteps of the previous Glass Lux electric Italo anthem ‘I’m A Machine’.
