Now here’s a catchy good times record if ever there was one. Brighton’s Fickle Friends dive into their first single with ‘Swim’ getting a release and it oozes summertime anthem vibes.
The track was recorded with James Earp (Bipolar Sunshine, Alex Hepburn and Nina Nesbitt) and will hook you in for repeat listens.
Leading up their debut single, 2013 saw Fickle Friends win two competitions back to back. The first was the Music Gateway that awarded them Best Live Act, which lead to a recording session at Abbey Road Studio 2. The second was a public vote to open for Jamie Oliver and Alex James’ The Big Feastival. Jamie Oliver, impressed with what he heard, paid for them to spend a week recording at Giant Wafer Studios in Wales.
