Disclosure’s album Settle has dropped on Spotify and it’s now available for a full stream. Phew! That means we can now tell you how good this album is and how much this is going to take up your airtime over the next few months wherever you are in the globe.
We had this through in a super secret email earlier in the week and we’ve been listening to it on constant repeat since then but unable to let you know just how good it is…until now that is.
A good number of the tracks from the album have either been leaked on the bands Soundcloud account already or drip fed to us all as singles, mixes and all things golden to the ears.
There’s 14 tracks on the album and if you take out the intro track, that leaves 13 remaining tracks that could all be singles. Yes, that is how good this albums is. It won’t upstage Daft Punk in the sales area for iTunes and streams on Spotify but we can definitely tell you that it genuinely is one of the best albums of the year, if not THE best. I’ve listened to this more than Random Access Memories already and my gut feeling is telling me that it will outpace Daft Punk’s album too for repeat listens over the coming months and well into 2014, that’s for sure.
This is the stealth album of 2013 and it will slowly creep into your sonic psyche. Before you know it, you’ll be head over heels for Disclosure (if you are not already).
