DAWN, aka Dawn Richard, releases her first single of 2016 and a second taste of her forthcoming album. Written by DAWN and Maya Vik, it is an absolutely huge track.
‘Not Above That’ is the second single from RED*emp*tion, DAWN’s third solo album and the final part of a trilogy (with GoldenHeart and Blackheart.) Produced by Machinedrum, it reflects the more up-tempo vibe of DAWN’s Red Era but is packed with late night longing and subtle emotion.
We are massive fans of Maya Vik and that shines through on this track for sure. We’re excited for what we are hearing on this one from DAWN.
