MELBOURNE rockers Buchanan continue their immaculate run of live supports, playing alongside WA’s Tim & Jean this Saturday, April 16th at the Toff in Town. Tickets now Sold Out.
Coming off a string of high-profile live shows, radio airplay and industry buzz, Buchanan will release debut EP “No Photo” this April 29th, via Inertia Records.
Buchanan are quietly becoming one of the most talked about Australian bands of 2011.
The Melbournians burst into the public focus with a rare 5-star review from triple j music director Richard Kingsmill, high rotation airplay of single ‘Teachers’, and an opening slot at the famed Laneway Festival—all within 6 months.
Buchanan’s unabashed pop sensibility, heartbreaking refrains and progressive arrangements have led to comparisons to the likes of Band of Horses, Phoenix and Mumford & Sons.
In April, Buchanan continues their residency at Northcote Social Club – every Tuesday of April.
“No Photo” will be released this April 29th via Inertia Records.
