Blondfire’s new track ‘Pleasure’ kind of challenges Metric for their female vocal driven rock royalty crown. We’re big fans of all things Blondfire and the direction on this new track lights a fire inside of us.
This is basically channelling Happy Mondays and Black Grape and personally growing up in the North of the UK around the time all of this was happening, this new track is an absolutely saintly track to be listening to. LOVE IT!
The song was inspired by the crazy Manchester drug scene aftermath and how seeking that ultimate euphoria and pleasure can come with a dark side. It was fun while it lasted…
