New track ‘Look Out’ from LA/Miami duo Bad Wave is bordering on early Phoenix and that’s a recipe for candy to the ears as far as we’re concerned.

Bad Wave is the electro-pop duo of Tucker Tota and Patrick Hart. Starting as a side project of two members of L.A. surf-rock outfit Nicky Blitz, Bad Wave was born when Tucker penned catchy Vampire Weekend-esque melodies and darker lyrics reminiscent of Toro y Moi over Patrick’s moody, CFCF-style electro beats. Tucker’s vocals, drawing comparisons to Phoenix, complete the package.
