On first listen, it sounds like Wyclef Jean is doing his best impression of The Edge from U2’s ‘Numb’ with the monotone lyrics at the start of the track. Fortunately, it breaks through quite quickly on ‘Kiss The Sky’.
Saying that, I wish they used that style more in this rather than just the intro.
One this is for sure. The Knocks are on that upward trajectory with this. Absolute fire!
