I think it is official. The likes of Kygo and Thomas Jack have now influenced enough budding remixers to stop the ‘Disclosure’ sound and travel down the summery pipe filled mix avenue. The number of mixes that are popping up like this is rapidly increasing.
I don’t really know how to describe this class of mix but you know what I mean when I compare it to Kygo.

I couldn’t agree more. There’s also a really strange coincidence — most of these Tropical House producers are coming from France and are 18 and 19 years old. I don’t know what they did to the water there in 1994 but all these kids born in 1995 are all in this Sax & Xylophone infused productions.
